On December 3rd, 2022 in Fishkill, the Cultural Advocacy Subcommittee hosted its Book Club - Session 4, which featured comedian, actor and producer Lou Perez showcasing his book, That Joke Isn’t Funny Anymore: On the Death and Rebirth of Comedy. The work explores the themes of cancel culture, intersectionality in popular media, and partisan politics at the expense of art itself.
